At the heart of Partners in Parenting is a friendship and professional relationship that has spanned over 30 years.  Dr. Debbie Blackburn and Dr. Jennine Moritz bring a wealth of experience in multiple settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and in-home clinical programs, as well as teaching together at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children and supervising therapists in the Circle of Security® Family Intervention.  They are both passionate about working with children and families, particularly with at-risk populations.  Partners In Parents is the outgrowth of their combined interests and clinical experiences and their vision for ways to make a difference in the community.  This vision is to do and be the best we can for our children: to help parents parent to the best of their ability, to use best practices in our clinical interventions and evaluation methods, and to advance the best models of care through research and advocacy.  Doing our best doesn't happen alone, it happens in partnership. Jennine and Debbie  feel very fortunate to have such talented and dedicated therapists joining them at Partners In Parenting.
